YGH is providing 25% Bridging Documents for the $292 million; 322,100 SF new US embassy campus in Ashgabat, the City of White. The city lies in an arid landscape with the backdrop of the dry and sandy slopes of the Kopet-Dag mountain range to the south. The campus consists of 11 buildings, including a 23-unit apartment building, residential quarters for the Chief of Mission, Deputy Chief of Mission, Community Center, CAPs, Utility Building, Support Annex, Recreation and the main Chancery. The Chancery’s five-story volume rests on a single-story plinth contextually reminiscent of the surrounding buildings.
