DOW recently completed a 142,000 SF sustainable off-campus, new office space across three-levels. A perimeter zone for staff and a defined central spine which includes conference rooms, work areas and social amenity spaces for its 450 employees help organize the program. Staff areas are spatially open with light colors and views to the immediate “Stadium District” neighborhood and nearby Tittabawasee River as well as to Dow’s manufacturing site. A raised access floor system provides maximum flexibility for the 120 degree workstations and modular offices. The central spine and public spaces create an experiential departure from the staff areas, with strong accent colors, angular surfaces, large graphics, and a dark envelope. The terminus point of each spine features pedestal lounges for work, rest, or informal interaction – contributing to a rich and varied experience for all occupants.
