The TCO Headquarters Office Building is located on a prominent site in Atyrau, one block west of the Ural River.  YGH provided feasibility studies, site recommendations, programming, design, construction documents and construction administration assistance for a state-of-the-art office building, housing development, medical clinic and community recreation facilities.  The eight story, 300,000 SF office building provides 480 workstations for TCO employees, as well as 17 large conference rooms and multiple lobbies and support spaces.  The fully equipped office building includes a 246 seat dining room, a 550 seat auditorium, a training/employment center, and computer, language and video labs.

The building displays local art and craftsmanship in highly, visible locations to establish an architectural tie to local culture and people. TCO sponsored a design competition and selected two Kazakh artists to carve traditional and contemporary motifs for exterior stone panels. Kazakh motifs are also integrated with the interior design.
