YGH designed the award-winning, LEED Gold certified Kelley Engineering Center as the new home to the departments of Computer Science and Electrical and Computer Engineering. The facility is helping the University attract renowned faculty, top students, increase research funding, strengthen industry partnerships and provide an “incubation center” for new high-tech businesses. The 153,000 sf building houses 320 graduate students and 140 faculty supported by classrooms, administration offices, software/hardware research labs, conference/meeting rooms and a multi-use atrium. The atrium includes a café and has become the social “heart” for all OSU engineering faculty and students.
