Ericka Colvin

Ericka Colvin is a Shareholder and Project Architect with 12 years of experience on projects ranging from art museums, tenant improvements, primary schools and governmental facilities. She is responsible for coordinating internal teams and consultants and oversees all aspects of design, documentation and construction to ensure the highest level of quality and efficiency. Ericka was an adjunct faculty member at Boston Architectural College and has been a juror for the Portland State University Department of Architecture. She is passionate about using design to enhance people’s lives and was fortunate enough to spend two years working in rural Guatemala, building an environmental school utilizing alternative construction techniques. Ericka serves as YGH’s Director of Sustainable Practice and is always excited to help clients connect to sustainable design and push our design community to be climate change leaders. She is a Design Museum Portland member and loves exploring all different types of design, from cities to graphics to jewelry.
